BARRY SEEDMAN, Ph.D. Dr. Barry Seedman is an internationally renowned hypnotherapist and the most recognized hypnosis instructor in the world.

His courses are presently being taught in eight countries. He is an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, Master Hypnotist, MBIS Master Practitioner and a Reiki Master. Dr. Seedman holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Hypnotherapy and has extensive professional experience in both private practice and U.S. Public Health Hospitals.

He is a recipient of many awards including 1997 Educator of the Year from the International Network For Alternative & Intuitive Therapies, the 1995 Therapist of the Year from the International Association of Counselors and Therapists and the 1993 Instructor of the Year from the National Guild of Hypnotists and was a 1997 nominee to the International Hypnosis Hall of Fame. Dr. Seedman’s students include many of the most prominent names in the field of hypnotherapy and hypnosis in the U.S. and abroad, and his personal client list includes celebrities from the worlds of entertainment and sports, e.g. Olympic athletes, and a current contender for the Super Middleweight Championship of the World.

He is on the faculty of New Yorker University of Delaware and of Milan, Italy, and The Learning Annex in New York City. He has been featured in scores of newspapers and magazines, and numerous TV and radio programs, including The Montel Williams Show, The Sally Jessy Raphael Show, Eye to Eye with Connie Chung, Dateline NBC, America’s Talking “Alive and Wellness,” and “State of Mind,” and The Charles Perez Show, and Good Day New York. Dr. Seedman is director of The Hypnosis Institute in New York City.

Author of the acclaimed self-help book, “Guaranteed to Win! A User Friendly Guide To Programming Yourself For Success in Any Area of Your Life!” he frequently lectures at colleges and universities (including Duke, N.C. State and University of North Carolina) as well as at expos and conventions around the world. He also consults with affiliates of the New York City Police Department.
